Pam Cornforth

Pam Cornforth has been the President/CEO of the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware for the past twenty years. Her responsibilities include overseeing the day to day operations of the Ronald McDonald House and three Ronald McDonald Family Rooms. She is responsible for financial and personnel management, strategic planning, public relations, fundraising and administrative duties for the House. During Pam’s leadership, the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware has undergone two expansions. Pam led the House’s efforts for their capital campaign which exceeded the $4.9mm goal. Pam served a two-year term as a member of the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Global Advisory board acting in the capacity as a liaison between the local RMHC chapters and the global office. Pam also served on the ad-hoc study team for RMHC that worked to measure the impact that the Ronald McDonald House program has on its hospital partners and access to healthcare. Pam served as Co-Chair of the True Sense Advisory Committee which assists in the coordination of the direct mail vendor and 56 other Ronald McDonald House Charities chapters.

Pam demonstrates a strong commitment to her local community.  Pam served as President of the Junior League of Wilmington and is currently the Sustainer Director on their Board of Directors of the Junior League. During her active years in JLW Pam also served as Community Programs VP, Placement Advisor, Treasurer, and Chair of the Ronald McDonald Car Raffle Committee, Co-Chair the ARC committee and Yearbook chair.

Pam is a Fund for Women Founder and served as the Secretary for the Board of Trustees for the Fund for Women. She is a past President and past member of the board of directors for the Rotary Club of Wilmington and the past Chair of the Board of Directors for DANA (Delaware Association of Nonprofit Agencies). Pam is the past Chair of the Superstars in Business Committee and past co-chair of the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce Small Business Alliance Board of Managers. Pam continues her service to the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce by serving on the Board of Managers of the Small Business Alliance and the Board of Governors. Pam was named a 2010 Brava! Women Business Achievement Award winner and an inductee in the Brava! Hall of Fame. Prior to joining the nonprofit world, Pam worked for the Bank of New York as a commercial loan officer in New York City. Pam graduated from Skidmore College with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Business. She resides in Landenberg, Pennsylvania with her husband, Doug. Doug and Pam have 3 adult children and two adorable grandchildren.
